distractions of the week.

Thursday, August 30, 2012

This week has been such a whirlwind. I did not expect to be this distracted from "real life"and it's only Thursday.
This hurricane has been consuming my life, including me worrying non stop about my parents who stayed home and braced the storm, who are fine and safe (Thank God). We are just hoping the water does not rise any more or else we will have something to worry about.
Got some other crazy, but good, news that I'm still trying to process.
Had my 24th birthday on Wednesday (the 29th) which is also the 7th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and the day Isaac hit.
My husband has two exams this week. I've really tried not to freak out about how little I've seen him.
In the midst of all of the above, I am really trying to finish editing photos from a shoot this weekend.
And Repeat. This has been more like a laundry washing cycle that will never finish.

So, with that all said, sorry for the lack of saucy blog posts. And lack of posts period.
I will try to rejuvenate this weekend and come back in full swing.

Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers through this all, I really do appreciate it.

  1. It's okay to take a break every once in awhile! You've had a lot on your plate and you need to take care of yourself first! We'll still be here when you come back :)

  3. I'm so sorry you're going through the downs with the hurricane! Our prayers are with you and the ones surrounding Hurricane Isaac. I know it doesn't seem so now, but things will get better, and you will rise from it all! Be strong for your parents, as I'm sure you are now, and stay positive ;)

  5. I'm in north LA and they said the hurricane would be horrible for us. They cancelled all schools pretty much in the whole parish. It has just been drizzling all day so I'm glad that it wasn't as horrible as they said it would be. I hope your parents are okay!!
