Wow. A year ago I began the journey of blogging! I've loved every moment of it. Even though I don't consider myself getting a grasp on blogging until December of 2011, my blog did officially begin a year ago with this little post. Don't bother looking, I barely had a grasp on sizing images or writing for that matter. haha
I vividly remember starting this blog. August 20ish I was trying to come up with a name and writing my options on paper then running into my husband's study room to ask him which he liked...we decided on A Southern Bee Diary. ehh I cringe just thinking of it. How did I even think it was cute? Months later I realized I needed a more sophisticated name and settled on The Magnolia Pair. When writing posts for this blog it is key that I keep it centered on my husband and I's life and our Louisiana roots that we are so proud of.
Blogging has truly given me a sense of who I am and what I strive to be. I learned a lot about myself with this blog, and I think I have improved on some things along the way. Thanks to blogging I feel up to date with the best etsy shops, know about the erin condren life planner, bought the most sought after j crew bauble necklace fad, and more. But more importantly are the people who supply these fresh new trends, and that is my blog friends. There is something indescribable that I can't explain about the friends I've made along the way. They are just amazing, and I seriously could name so many of them who have touched my life and been there for me in hard situations. If that's not rewarding then I don't know what is. I've been brought to tears (happy tears) by some of the comments that people have left me. It's really incredible the support you get. I may not be able to respond to everyone, but trust me I know who leaves me comments and I read them everyday and they bring me so much happiness.
That brings me to me to my next point: Appreciation. I just want to tell everyone who is reading this blog, Thank You. Sincerly and truthfully, thank you for reading my posts. Knowing that people actually read my posts makes me feel so blessed. I used to write posts and no one saw them. I've come a long way within a year, and I owe it to every reader out there for that, because I couldn't do this without you. I mean, I am just a little over a 100 away from 1,000 readers. That's surreal and the most amazing thing. I don't even have nearly that many facebook friends. So, Thank You, I love each and every one of you for your ongoing support.
I can't wait to see what this next year brings!
