Five Things I'm Thankful For.

Five little things that I am super thankful for today :)

#1 Leaving for vacation today, yay! I'll be trading my boots for sandals and cruising over to the bahamas with my hubby! It will kind of be a pre-baby-moon since we booked it pre-pregnancy, but we still wanted to go and have a last little hoo-rah together, in case we can't take a trip in the Spring! Plus, we need some serious R&R! I think I'll order room service everyday!

#2 So thankful that hubby is done studying and is on fall break! He took his test yesterday and did good, so we're celebrating and catching up on missed time together.

#3 Thankful that we have such good friends to take care of our Rayne Rue while we're gone. I am praying she does well because she can be a little spoiled at times. We believe her chewing days are gone, so hopefully she is a good girl for them! I'll miss her so much!

#4 That we get to see my parents for a couple of days before we embark on our cruise. I've missed them so much, and my Mama especially wants to see her grand baby bump!

#5 That we got to see our baby this week moving all around in my belly on the ultrasound. It's truly amazing to know that there is a baby growing inside of me. I am also very happy that the nausea, food aversions, etc are letting up a bit! Yesterday I ate a cheeseburger!! And I hadn't done that in over 6 weeks! It was good y'all :)

It really has been a good week, even though it was super tough not seeing Joel all week, it really is so worth it that we'll have a whole week together with no interruptions or distractions. We've been looking forward to this trip for so long, and are so thankful we can have this opportunity. I posted this a while back, but the reason we are taking a big trip now, is because it will most likely we our last "big trip" for a long time. Joel starts clinicals right after the baby is born so we will never get a whole week off until he is finished with medical school. He will get 2 weeks off for Christmas, but thanks to the Step 1, he'll be studying the entire time. So, here's to our last "big trip" for a very long time! We're gonna make the most of it :)

While I'm gone I've got a few posts scheduled for y'all! I will be posting pictures via Instagram- so follow along to see what we're up to at: britt_themagnoliapair
