Waffle Bar Party

Wednesday, February 19, 2014

Valentine's day with a little is just so fun you guys. For the past 7 years I've celebrated Valentine's day with my hubby, and he's made it just the most fun day. Our first Valentine's he traveled an hour to visit me at my parents house since we were still in high school and doing the long distance thing. Another year we biked 4 miles to eat at our favorite restaurant and of course we've done the fancy restaurant maybe twice. But, we are usually laid back and want to have fun for this holiday. Having a baby this year made for the best Valentine's day. I wanted to host a little get together with some of our friends to celebrate the holiday and couldn't think of a better theme than to do a Waffle Bar. It exceeded my expectations and it was so fun and cute. Of course I pulled my inspiration from pinterest, but was so surprised as to how easy it was to set up everything. Luckily I had most of the essential decor and only had to pick up a few things. Really, if you are on the fence about a fun theme to do, I suggest this kind of party. All of the waffles were eaten and everyone had so much fun making them!

And of course, the waffle party was a huge hit with Scarlett, too! She even stole my waffle! :) I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day! XOXO

  8. We had a waffle party for our baby shower and it was the best thing ever. It was a brunch theme and since we're from TX, we also had to add chicken to the mix :) This looks great.
